Well I've long considered Stevie Wonder as a musical genius and given him all due Respect and major props for his Civil Rights contributions here in America and his humanitarian efforts particularly in South Africa.

But on this matter, here's the deal with me……..

I'm done with Black celebrities and Black socio-cultural-political blowhards and their SELECTIVE causes..their SELECTIVE *caring* when it comes to the tragic loss of a (Black) life.

I've asked this before and I'll keep right on asking: WHERE pray tell have all these *outraged* Black folks been over the years while THOUSANDS of young Black lives (mostly male) were tragically cut short (mostly) due to BLACK ON BLACK GUN VIOLENCE?!

THOUSANDS died BEFORE Trayvon. And certainly hundreds have died SINCE his tragic death….and yet there's been mostly *crickets* from Black-America..!?!

When Stevie, Al , Jesse Sr., Melissa, Tavis et al can explain to me WHY? the loss of Trayvon's life at the hands of Zimmerman is somehow deserving of attention and outrage while the tragic deaths of THOUSANDS of other young Black people at the hands of BLACK-ON-BLACK gun violence goes basically ignored…..

……then and ONLY THEN will I pay any of them any attention at all.
