What a blessing it was for me and my sibs to have been brought up in a household and a community, during a time when this man’s incredible gift could be heard literally everywhere! Stevie Wonder was a music prodigy and has always so generously shared his musical genius with the world.

(sidenote) My parents loved Stevie Wonder. My maternal grandmother-a deeply religious woman if ever there was one- even she appreciated Stevie’s talents…lol. But in my life there was no bigger fan of Stevie Wonder than my brother, whose first name happened to be Steve ….and in our family he was always called ‘Stevie.’ My brother also grew up to become an accomplished pianist. He died much too young and I miss him dearly. But I digress.

I pray that all goes well with Stevie Wonder’s surgery and I wish him a full and speedy recovery.
