‘Stop Hillary!’ Really?
It’s 2013 — the 5th year of President Obama’s 8 year presidency. We are nowhere near a presidential election, since we just finished the last one merely months ago. Yet that hasn’t stopped a conservative group from forming the “Stop Hillary” in 2016 campaign now.
Organizers of the “Stop Hillary” political action committee are so afraid she might actually run again for president, they incorporated in May and have started doing everything in their power to rake Hillary and Bill Clinton over the coals — or at least attempt to intimidate her not to run. How sad and pathetic for them to live in such fear of an unannounced Democrat.
“The point is to make noise wherever Clinton goes,” said media consultant Garrett Marquis, who is an organizer of the “Stop Hillary” PAC. “We’re supporting anything that is the opposite of Hillary,” he added. “We will play however needed, wherever Hillary is playing. If she endorses in the Virginia governor’s race, we will go there. Assuming she is active in Iowa, we will be there, too, and we will make some considerable noise.”
Hillary Clinton has not even hinted at any intention to run for president or hope to be inaugurated 4 years from now. In fact, no one has. But apparently just the name “Hillary” or “Clinton” instills such fear in Republicans, that they feel their only hope is to be proactive and pick on a make believe candidate years before even the first primary vote is cast.
Sad, just sad!
