The Tea Party has delivered a sharp and surprising message to GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann: QUIT THE RACE!
Once considered the darling of the Tea Party (ahead of Sarah Palin), Bachmann has had a swift fall from grace after being an early top tier candidate. But the Tea Party has seemingly grown tired of Bachmann, as is evident from her now near bottom polling percentages.
“It’s time for Michele Bachmann to go,” said American Majority President Ned Ryun, who trains thousands of tea party supporters in 7 states. “I think it’s pretty obvious that Michele Bachmann is about Michele Bachmann,” American Majority Executive Director Matt Robbins added.
“Let’s face it: she’s a back-bencher and has been a back bencher congressperson for years,” Robbins continued. “This is not a serious presidential campaign.” OUCH!
The truth is, I forced myself to watch an entire interview of this lunatic woman yesterday when she appeared on ABC News’s “This Week with Christiane Amanpour.”Honestly, I looked for ANY sign that would explain to me why ANY responsible and rational person would vote to put this woman in any position of authority…ANY position of authority. I thought to myself Surely this woman must possess some redeeming quality. SURELY. Good. Lord.I saw NOT 1 sign. Heard NOT 1 good reason. Nothing. Zip. Nada. She literally made my HAIR hurt just listening to her endless nonsensical babble.And people in Minnesota actually voted to send this woman to the U.S. Congress!?! Unbelievable.
