TEACHER BRUTALITY

Spread The Love
A Houston teacher is out of a job and facing assault charges after attacking and beating a child in her classroom.
40-year-old Science teacher Shari Lynn Davis is now a former educator at Jamie’s House Charter School in Texas, after beating 13-year-old Isaiah Johnson.  Davis claimed the boy touched a girl in her classroom and commenced with an obscene beating that caused the boy a black eye and bruises, which he immediately reported to his mother.  At first, school officials only suspended Ms. Davis pending further investigation.  But an impromptu cell phone video of the beating showed up online, revealing her brutal methods against the child and forcing the school to fire her and police to initiate charges.
The video, which was shot by a student and goes on for more than a minute, shows the teacher dragging the boy across the floor, and crouching in an odd defensive stance while kicking him in the back, slapping his face and slamming his head against a classroom wall. “The video is absolutely horrifying,” said Sue Davis, spokesperson for Jamie’s House Charter School. “It’s unreal that a teacher would do that to a student. That’s just not something we are going to tolerate.”
Jamie’s House is a charter school for students with disciplinary problems. The spokesperson said no matter what the teen may have done to provoke the teacher, he didn’t deserve to get hit.

This is unbelievable. Theres so much wrong with this I don't even know where to begin. No matter what that child supposedly did or said, theres no reason for a grown adult to beat a child like that. I hope she's prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

We get calls about that all the time! Teachers must be stressed!

And she was a "Special Ed" teacher?!I recognize that generally speaking, teaching in the public school system is extremely stressful. And being a "Special Ed" teacher takes that challenge to a whole other level. But when a teacher has reached this violent point, he/she has stayed too long and needs to get out BEFORE something like this happens_smh.Ms. Davis shouldn't be teaching anywhere_nor should the any teachers who may have stood around watching this thing take place. They should all be fired and I agree with BD_Ms. Davis should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
