Repubs better hope Cruz doesn't get the nomination because everything this article said will come true. Dems will file a lawsuit and the courts will fight for years. Cruz should have made the court rule on this before he decided to run. It's too late for him now regardless if he's American or Canadia or what. These Repubs just never learn.

Cruz is in the process of having his "natural born" legs cut out from under him by his bosom-buddy-pal-n-chum..the "birther" king himself.

Poor fella. Cruz had hoped that by playing nice with Trump, Trump would spare him the vicious attacks Trump routinely levels at all other challengers. And up till now Trump has shown some restraint in his attacks against Cruz. But frankly, Trump held back out of deference to evangelical voters who Trump doesn't want to offend.

Looks like Trump has decided to go after Cruz but with a smile, a softer tone, and his very own special-made, Trump brand political sharp-knife that he keeps hidden in one hand. He's betting that repeated stabs to Cruz's knee section should do it.

We shall see.

Apparently Cruz (or someone on behalf of Cruz) recently reached out to Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell seeking a little *favor.* That would be the SAME Senate Majority Leader who Ted Cruz called a "liar and a crony" while standing on the Senate floor.

And um….Mitch said…No.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) says the upper chamber won’t issue a resolution on whether Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) is constitutionally eligible to run for president.

“I just don’t think the Senate ought to get into the middle of this,” McConnell said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week.” “These guys will all slug it out in Iowa and New Hampshire. We’ll have a nominee hopefully by sometime in the spring.”…

The Senate previously issued a resolution [in 2008] confirming then-nominee John McCain’s eligibility to serve as president. The Arizona senator was born on a military base in Panama to American parents. […]
