Keep in mind, the majority of educated White women who voted in the 2016 presidential election voted for Trump, a pathological liar and an admitted sexual predator.

At the end of the day none of that mattered to them. They voted for him anyway.

And even though his presidency, thus far, has proven to be a veritable sham and sh*tfest, most of the people who voted for Trump still support the guy. No matter how unintelligent or incompetent he is or how imbecilic or reprehensible his ideas for making America "great again" .

He's their president. They know what he's really about. And they know what to expect from him.

"Elections have consequences."

Evidently the majority of people who actually vote in states like Texas and South Dakota have little-to-NO problem with such discriminatory bills. Those voters supported / and still support extremist right-wing lawmakers.

So I'm not at all surprised by right-wing lawmakers pushing such hateful bills. Appalled? Yes. Surprised? No.

And as long as the majority of voters keep voting such cretins into office, this is what the residents of such states can expect.
