Still…I’ll keep it as brief as I possibly can.

My short response is to cosign with what BD expressed. I hope and pray they succeed in achieving their goal(s).

However, it is a gargantuan task they’ve taken on – in addition to the possible threat of injuries, emotional and psychological trauma…possibly even death…they are forced to live with every single day of their young lives.

But can’t the same be said of what WE (ALL of America) must live with every single day? Over the past 20-30 yrs, Gun-violence has become as much a part of American culture as waving the American flag.

And yet, WE, adults (PARENTS, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, preachers and politicians) all across this country -WE, who brought these children into this world, WE, whom they’ve trusted in for love and guidance and protection..WE. Collectively. Have. So Thoroughly. Failed. Them.

And now WE look to them to save themselves….and by default to save Us too…smh!

They are our future and they have all the power to make real change happen. I was skeptical at first because we have tried and failed before to fight the NRA. But these kids are serious and mean business. The more people try putting them down they just get stronger. I love it.
