TGIF: Cursing Anchor Fired

Spread The Love

A new television anchor for NBC News in Bismarck, North Dakota has earned the distinction of being employed for perhaps the shortest time ever!

A nervous A.J. Clemente, who had just graduated from West Virginia University, was experiencing his very first day on air as a television news anchor.  Unaware that his microphone was on during the opening credits, A.J. let out his first day jitters by uttering some rather choice profanity — on air.  His stunned co-anchor tried to proceed forward as if nothing had happened, but by then it was too late.  Aside from cursing on air, A.J. just didn’t seem to have the “it” factor to be a successful news man.

In anticipation of a hefty fine from the FCC for allowing profanity on air, NBC immediately fired A.J. following his horrific premiere on camera, making his first day on the job also his last day on the job!

THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!
