Deborah Cohen was due for a double mastectomy. Having both breasts surgically removed is by far a very difficult procedure, both mentally and physically, for any woman to endure. However, Cohan, an OB-GYN and mother of 2, made the very best out of a bad situation.
Before the surgery, Cohen and her medical team threw a pre-op dance party right in the operating room at the University of California-San Francisco Medical Center at Mount Zion. Her 6-minute dance video to Beyonce’s hit single “Get Me Bodied” was posted on YouTube last week and has since received more than 250,000 views.
