This year’s Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) was a gay affair — literally!
Paul Detric, a reporter for Reason.TV, attended this year’s CPAC convention and used the gay hook-up app Grindr to try and track down gays attending the conservative event. Instead of Grindr being an empty ghost-town with all the anti-gay evangelicals and conservatives in town, Detric was surprised to find a huge number of gay Republicans on the site looking for a little gay lovin’ on the down low.
A few of the gay GOP actually talked to Detric — some on camera and some off-camera. Check out their responses below on how they could be so conservative and so gay all at the same time.
