A 12-year-old Detroit girl got to play a modern day “Robin Hood” for a day.
The unnamed girl shocked her friends when she showed up to school with a backpack full of hundred dollar bills — $20,000 worth to be exact. In the spirit of sharing, she then just started handing the cash out to her friends, quickly making her the most popular girl in the building. When the school principal got word of it and saw students fanning themselves with wads of cash, that’s when the gig was up!
It seems the girl got the cash from another girl who lived across the street from her. Not knowing if the cash was casino winnings or drug money, the principal collected all of the ill-gotten gain and contacted police, who are investigating.
Oh well, at least for an hour, one Detroit girl was the toast of her school.
