Yes, you read correctly — all males were once female — in the womb. As a fellow male, I was just as shocked as you are now, but it’s true. So forget about testosterone and our disdain for getting in touch with our feminine side. No matter what we think, science reminds us it’s definitely there!
One of the reasons doctor’s are unable to determine the sex of a fetus during the first trimester of a pregnancy, is because every fetus is initially female, or “gender-neutral.” But eventually, the ovaries of each “male intended” fetus becomes the testes and we all “man up” into maleness. WHEW!
