For generations, certain segments of society have attempted to interpret the U.S. Constitution in their own favor. Whether it was for the continuation of slavery or to keep women degraded as 2nd class citizens, Americans have long played loose with the law for their own gain.
Not surprising, Fox News is no different.
After the Boston Marathon bombing, the fools personalities at Fox suggested we should basically throw away the constitution just to go after “those Muslims.” They wanted the government to skip the reading of Miranda Rights. They wanted the wife of the slain suspect thrown in jail just for wearing the traditional Muslim headdress. They even wanted the surviving suspect water-boarded and tortured for his crime.
But when the conversation switched to guns in America, the fools personalities at Fox changed their tune and revered the constitution as if it were the Bible. They made fun of President Obama for trying to control guns in America. They tossed away even the thought of background checks as a joke. They even chastised the president for the possibility he could use an executive order to fix current gun laws. Oh the irony.
Well, leave it to Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” to point out the hypocrisy. This one is a true winner. Enjoy the fun!
