TGIF: ROADKILL FRIED RICE?
Imagine yourself dining in your favorite local restaurant — then seeing the dead carcass of some bloody roadkill being whisked past you and into the kitchen. Well, that’s exactly what happened to lunch-time diners at a Chinese restaurant in Kentucky earlier this week.
One woman described how she witnessed the noticeable hoof and tail of a dead deer being dragged into the kitchen by one worker, as another mopped up the bloody trail the deer left behind. Diners were so petrified at the blatant site, they immediately called the health department and reported the unbelievable scene.
When the health inspector arrived, he found portions of a dead deer cut up and being prepared in the kitchen. Restaurant owners swore they were merely preparing the smelly carcass for their own consumption, but the inspector wasn’t buying it and immediately shut the place down!
So, the next time you order pork or beef fried rice — make sure it’s legitimate PORK or BEEF!
