TGIF: A WAKE UP CALL FOR THE GOP
President Barack Obama whipped the pants off of Mitt Romney this week — and the Republican Party was the last to know it. Conservatives have been so tuned into the fantasy world known as Fox News, that the veritable beat-down Romney received was deemed impossible even when the cold, hard facts were right in front of their conservative faces.
On Tuesday night, Fox News called Ohio for Mr. Obama and then determined him the winner of the election. But that didn’t stop Republican trouble-maker Karl Rove from appearing live on Fox News and negating the results of the very network he was appearing on, thereby giving false hope to Republicans when it was mathematically impossible for the results to be otherwise. At one point the lies from Rove were so bad, that Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly asked him on air if his refusal to accept the truth of the results were solely concocted to make himself feel good. Ouch!
Karl Rove was the ring leader, but he wasn’t the only culprit. The entire Fox team has been feeding its viewers absolute lies about Romney’s chances just because it’s what they wanted to hear. But it was not true. Now, many Republicans across the country are scratching their heads and suffering from a deep depression, because for months, they were misled into believing that the race was tight and that Romney was going to win in a landslide and “take the country back” for them. But NONE of that was EVER true. The race was NEVER tight. Not only did Romney lose Ohio, but he lost EVERY other swing state too. There was a landslide, yes, but it was in favor of President Obama and NOT Mitt Romney.
Fox News is not news. It is a world of make-believe that dishes out dangerous and daily doses of false information which continue to lead its viewers off of a cliff. Many have made fun of Fox News in recent days, but it was this schooling from MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow that summed it all up perfectly.
THANK GOD IT’S FRIDAY!

Unfortunately, I have to say, that I don't believe the GOP can recover. Even if they wanted to (and I've seen NO signs of that) I don't believe they can. The GOP injected a deadly toxin into its bloodstream decades ago and now that toxin has effectively spread to every vital organ of the body…in particular, the brain. It may take a few more years (and lost elections) for the GOP's dying-process to play out. But I don't think there's any question about it. The GOP is dead.… Read more »
