In 24 hours, President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama will once again become simply Mr. and Mrs. Obama. After a stellar 8-years as the first Black family to reside in The White House and a whopping 60% approval rating, it’s difficult to say goodbye.
So, we won’t.
We’ll only say THANK YOU for your service to the country and SO LONG for now, with this pictorial and video tribute!

Okay DJ…it's about 9:40 AM, EST.
I have to attend a job-related meeting at 10:30 AM this morning which means I have about 50 minutes to pull myself together after reading THIS post…smh.
I have never been one to cry so easy. But I will admit….to see this fine gentleman – My President – and his lovely wife and daughters leave the White House….(pause to inhale then exhale)….well let's just say, it's having a tearful effect on me.
Pres. Obama and his family have represented Our country with such Class and Dignity and Grace and Humility. I will truly miss all that and so much more.
Again- I want to wish Pres. Obama and his family God Speed. And May God Bless.
Alright I'm agreeing with Truth again on this one. I am already starting to get emotional over what is about to happen. I am really sad to see them go and I pray that God will watch over us. So long Barack and Michelle.
I already know I'm going to be crying all day tomorrow. Obama is a great man. He and his beautiful family will be missed!
