This story is right on time because teachers are next. I have two family members who quit teaching. One took a early retirement and the other just quit. Covid was a big reason but the pay is too low to live on. Plus these kids today are bad and getting worse. My family member said it was no longer worth it to stay. If teachers start walking away and parents have to go back to dealing with their kids learning from home we are in trouble.

WE used to be the envy of the world. Before fear, ignorance, hatred, incompetence, endless LIES and the “Love of money” really took over.

Now we’re just got one H*ll of a hot mess….smh!

And our children are the victims of Our collective failure.

I do NOT know what happened to this country, Our country, over the past 25-30 yrs but WE (all of America) have lost Our way!!!

Just look around. Look at any sector. The breakdown of families and communities. The Opioid Crisis. Barriers to quality and affordable Healthcare. Failed Educational systems both public and private. A justice system that’s anything but “Just.” And don’t get me started on the patently Unqualified dangerous clowns running around in law enforcement with badges and guns who are scared sh*tless of their own shadow, let alone fearful of EVERY Black man (women and child) they see.

The lack of good vocational programs for young people, in particular to fill the “millions of jobs” we keep hearing about that are out there. We can’t protect our kids from guns and socials media.

Medical providers across the board are now absolutely worn out thanks to Covid and the idiot president in charge at the beginning of pandemic. Nurses and teachers who are worn out AND have been underpaid FOR YEARS!

[If teachers launch a mass exodus and join The Great Resignation, schools across the country will crumble. Additionally, students who have already had to endure the back and forth of remote learning versus classroom learning could suffer the biggest loss.

[Or, in other words, a continued failure to modernize the teaching profession and pay educators a respectable living wage for the amount (and importance) of the work they do could not only expedite The Great Resignation among teachers, but completely decimate the American educational system.
