I don’t mean to offend but WE cannot afford to keep playing ourselves like this. Indeed we are hurting ourselves! So here’s the deal:

1. Many, if not most, White people in America can’t handle stress. While we (Black Americans) have been forced to live with stress for 400 years.

2. Many, if not most, White people reject being inconvenienced in life by anything (including Reality) because they’ve always had the luxury of PRETENDING certain “issues” DON’T exist in the first place. While we (Black Americans) have never had any choice but to cope with the reality of life in America. We’ve never had the luxury of pretending that bad things don’t happen. Never!

3. Blacks deny reality at Our own peril. We know this is True because WE’ve always, ALWAYS, ended up paying the highest price for such insanity!

The Texas Rangers baseball team packed its 40,000-seat stadium for Monday’s home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.  

The team announced a sellout crowd of 38,238 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, just under the stadium’s official capacity, according to reports. That attendance doesn’t include complimentary tickets to the game.

Honestly BD, I understand why so many people are still so leery about getting the vaccine.

I’m leery about the vaccines! But I finally broke down and registered for it. I’m just waiting on the call to schedule it.

Of all 3 vaccines I prefer either Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson.

And group gatherings are still absolutely out of the question for the foreseeable future, given that the primary population that I work with was already a “high risk” population (in terms of their medical and mental wellness) even before COVID.

Thankfully we can meet virtually whether it’s 1:1 or in a group.
