TIGER’S BACK
On Tuesday, Tiger Woods announced that he is ending his self-imposed exile, to return to the biggest golfing event of them all — the U.S. Masters. “The Masters is where I won my first major and I view this tournament with great respect,” Woods said in a released statement. “After a long and necessary time away from the game, I feel like I’m ready to start my season at Augusta.”
Woods’ announcement must surely have the golfing world and all his endorsement deal-makers grinning from ear to ear. Not only did he single-handedly inject life back into the PGA Tour, which has been without the world’s best and most recognizable player, but he has now taken the next step in what is sure to be a very interesting and prolonged public rehabilitation. The Master’s tournament is scheduled for April 5-11 at Georgia’s Augusta National Golf Club.
OR IS HE RETURNING TOO SOON?
It's gonna be interesting to see how he gets received once he comes back. There's gonna be a lot of questions reporters will be asking constantly on the tour. He's so private is he ready for that?
