But I would also add to it: The ongoing political train wreck this year which is the Republican party. I've never seen anything like it! I like your *Top 10* list too but would modify it just a little. On my *Top 10* list the capture/killing of Osama bin Laden would be tied with the 10th Year Anniversary of 9/11. The historic link between the two are equally significant in my eyes.My #2 story would be the "Arab Spring" which led to the ousting of Egyptian president Mubarak and then to the capture/killing of Libyan dictator, Gadhafi.
