The Donald Trump years have been one trainwreck after another. However, have you ever stopped to ask yourself: What are his Top 10 WORST moments?
Current Events
His Obama jealousy was so severe, he forced then-White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer to announced that his poorly attended inauguration was actually the best attended ever — oh, and much bigger than Obama’s. He tossed paper towels at the citizens of Puerto Rico following the devastating destruction of Hurricane Maria (after not realizing that Puerto Rico is a territory of the US). He promised to build and complete a wall at the US-Mexico border AND that Mexico would pay for it (He didn’t build it. They didn’t pay for it.). He seemingly fell asleep mid-tweet the night he introduced the world to COVFEFE. He issued hundreds of questionable pardons for known crooks. He was even impeached TWICE!
Yes, ‘The Donald’ has given us a 4-year-long reality television show that was so bad, the voters canceled it and him. And so, today, as we all sing “DING DONG, THE WITCH IS DEAD,” let’s take one last stroll through the Top 10 WORST moments of the Donald Trump years.
10.) The Muslim Ban
Trump’s first (racist) act once inside the Oval Office in 2017 was to immediately ban citizens from certain Muslim countries from entering the US. His actions earned him a protest of thousands across the country, which came on the heels of the all-female Pussyhat march of 2017.
.
9.) World Leaders Laugh At Him
In 2019, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, French President Emmanuel Macron, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, and Prime Minister Mark Rutte of the Netherlands were all caught on tape mocking and laughing at Donald Trump for his grandiose behavior.
.
8.) Trump Mocks Handicapped Journalist
Although this one happened before he moved into The White House, the moment Trump mocked handicapped journalist Serge Kovaleski was one of his most vile and lowest points ever.
.
7.) Disinfectant In The Veins
When Trump looked into the television cameras and said with a straight face how he thought there might be a way to inject disinfectant into our veins to cure COVID-19, the entire world laughed at him. In order to save face, he later claimed it was all a joke — but, of course, we all know better.
.
6.) Botched COVID Response
First, he pretended it didn’t exist. Then, he said it would “go away” with the seasonal heat. Next, he claimed it would disappear “like a miracle.” Oh, and he held half-a-dozen super-spreader events at The White House and refused to allow staff to wear masks because he didn’t like the way they looked. The way Donald Trump botched the US response to the COVID-19 pandemic was criminal and is the reason why we’re so far behind and still not all wearing masks today.
.
5.) Sore Loser/Refusal To Concede
Although the 2020 presidential election ended more than 2 months ago, Donald Trump will leave Washington kicking and screaming and still claiming that he won. Not only did he stir his MAGA sycophants into a frenzy over the lie that he was fraudulently cheated out of his deserved victory, but he was even caught on tape pressuring the Georgia Secretary of State to “find” him 11,000 some-odd votes to magically put him over the top. Trump is such a sore loser, he won’t even attend the Biden inauguration — a gift Joe Biden has said he will happily accept.
.
4.) Charlottesville/Very Fine People
When thousands of white males from mostly white nationalist groups marched on the streets of Charlottesville, VA in 2017 carrying tiki-torches, shouting racial epithets, and claiming they were being discriminated against, Trump didn’t denounce the racism. Instead, he proclaimed there were “very fine people on both sides.”
.
3.) Children In Cages
In 2018, Donald Trump and his advisers concocted the bright idea to deter illegal immigration by forcibly separating families once they crossed into the US. The practice ended up placing immigrant children of all ages in cages and away from their parents, some of whom were taken to detention centers in other cities. To this day, the US still can’t reunite all of the children with their rightful parents because they’ve permanently lost track of them.
.
2.) Black Lives Matter Photo-Op
During the summer of 2020, Donald Trump watched Americans of all races and ages march in cities from coast to coast during the George Floyd/Black Lives Matter protests. Feeling this was the opportune moment to cement his reputation as a Putin-like dictator, Trump instructed police to teargas peaceful protesters near The White House so he could walk across the street for a photo-op to prove he was in control. Needless to say, it did not go well.
.
1.) Capitol Hill Attack
Donald Trump’s bruised ego and refusal to accept the 2020 election results prompted him to direct his cult-like MAGA fanatics to the US Capitol to “Stop The Steal” and force Congress to award the presidency to him. The coup attempt saw thousands of MAGA’s overrun security and infiltrate the House and the Senate in a melee that left 5 dead and likely hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages.
.
Donald Trump asked the Pentagon to give him a military parade and 21 gun salute on his way out the door. He was swiftly denied. With so much chaos during the 4 years of the Trump era and this march down memory lane of his Top 10 WORST moments, we happily bid ‘The Donald’ SO LONG and GOOD RIDDANCE!!!

Top 10 WORST moments of the Trump era.
AP: President Donald Trump is starting his last full day in office hiding from the public and with his lowest approval ratings ever. President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration is due to take place on Wednesday in a ceremony Trump said he won’t attend, making him the first president since 1869 to buck the tradition. Trump has also largely vanished from public life in the final days of his presidency. Since some of his supporters staged a deadly riot at the US Capitol on January 6, the president has not made a single public appearance. His aides have described him as angry and isolated in the White House, with CNN reporting late last week that aides had decided to limit his appearances before the media in case he veers from scripted comments about the riot. The attack, and Trump’s response, saw him isolated from many in the Republican Party and in his own cabinet. A number… Read more »
