My maternal grandmother, in particular, had what we call “the gift” when it came to cooking. And my grandmother passed that gift on to her daughter (my mom) and her son in-law (my dad). And my parents passed it on to my babysis (Thank you Lord!)

Suffice it to say, cooking ain’t my thang. But having been brought up by a southern grandmother and my parents, suffice it to say that I know good eating when I smell it AND taste it…Lol
