Should the government promote a so-called idea of “traditional values” in America?
For many years, most Americans answered with a resounding yes! They staunchly backed the idea of “traditional” marriage between a man and a woman, heterosexuality over homosexuality, and a women’s right to choose versus right to life.
But a new poll has completely rocked that idea.
When asked recently should the government continue to promote “traditional values” in America, the new poll numbers were:
YES 46%
NO 50%
Apparently, a surprising 50% of Americans now want the government to stay out of their lives and not make decisions for them, but rather allow them to make choice and decisions for themselves.

It's funny to me, because I suspect the shift is mostly due to the actions of the so-called "Party of Family Values" ..or should I say the PERVASIVE and obvious HYPOCRISY of said Party. <span>The Repubs have spent, at least, since Reagan railing about the need to “get government OUT of our lives.” While at the </span><span>same time they've been constantly trying to meddle in the lives of EVERYBODY. </span> <span> </span> <span>That loathsome band of so-Con Posers who espouse "family-values" think nothing of prancing around pretending to be holier-than-thou, waging cultural WARS in an attempt DICTATE how everyone else should live, while they themselves engage in all kinds of Hedonistic and vulgar behavior on the DL!?! </span> <span> </span> <span>It’s like watching a bunch of HYPOCRITICAL schizophrenics…lol</span> <span><span> </span></span> <span>But alas, it appears that the majority of Americans are finally seeing the light and rejecting the madness. This trend will only get better as a new generation of young people take their rightful place as part of the electorate and want to be left alone to live (and let live) their lives as they please. <span> </span></span></span>
