All is not well for the US Commerce Secretary.
While in California over the weekend, John Bryson was involved in a hit and run accident. Less than 5 minutes after leaving the scene of the crime, Bryson was involved in yet another accident. Coincidence?
Bryson says he suffered a seizure while behind the wheel, despite the face he has no history of seizures and reported to work healthy on Monday morning. Police officials tested his blood alcohol level and if he was under the influence of a substance. But in sticking with his “seizure” story, Bryson said yesterday he will take a medical leave of absence to undergo tests and evaluations for his health. Hmmm…
The 68-year-old Commerce Secretary twice struck a car that had stopped for a train, before ramming into another vehicle only a few minutes later. He was found unconscious behind the wheel, which is when government officials announced he had had a seizure. This is important since it will determine if he’s charged with felony hit-and-run or not.
