Trump And His Cronies Shaking In Their Boots
Don’t look now, but Donald Trump and his cronies are all shaking in their boots over the charges that have been levied against them.
Politics :
After being indicted for a 4th time earlier this week over a trail of illegalities during his time in the Oval Office, Donald Trump is said to be absolutely livid. He has been holed up at his Bedminster Golf Resort in New Jersey, pouting and angry that others are being allowed to tell him what to do. His only saving grace is that he has (as usual) surrounded himself with yes-people who will only tell him he’s right and everyone else is wrong.
“Donald is livid,” a political source said of Trump’s demeanor. “He will always say that he won, that the election was rigged, and this fourth indictment was a political ambush. That is the only way he can face the day.”
The source added that the people around Trump continuously tell him how much they love and adore him, and boost his spirit by reminding him how far ahead he is of the other Republican candidates for the upcoming 2024 presidential election.
However, since Trump and his cronies were completely blindsided by the mass indictment this week from Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, the “cronies” don’t appear to be doing so well.
According to CNN, longtime sycophant Rudy Giuliani is facing financial ruin for his years of being a lap dog for Donald Trump.
In addition to the legal charges he must address in Georgia, Giuliani is being hit with hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal bills and sanctions amid numerous lawsuits. Reports are that because he hasn’t really worked in many years (and Trump has stiffed him and refused to pay him for providing legal services on multiple occasions), Rudy is effectively broke.
Unlike Trump, MAGA followers are not sending him money for legal bills. So, he has no idea how he will be able to afford to pay lawyers to represent him, or if anyone will be willing to represent him at all.
“Rudy Giuliani actually has a lot of other things on his plate right now: namely, he appears to be out of cash,” CNN’s Katelyn Polantz reported on Wednesday. “He hasn’t been able to share details in court. He’s trying to not do that because it would embarrass him and draw attention to his misfortunes.”
“He is having financial difficulties,” Giuliani attorney Adam Katz confirmed on Wednesday. “These are a lot of bills that he’s not paying. I think this is very humbling for Mr. Giuliani.”
Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who is one of the 18 ‘Trump and his cronies’ indicted this week in Georgia, is facing his own issues.
Meadows recognizes that if the case against him remains in the Georgia court, he’s cooked. That’s why the former Trump chief is already attempting to get his case moved from the state court to federal court.
Meadows believes that if he can succeed in getting his case moved, the federal court would be more favorable toward him. They could even dismiss the case due to his status as a federal employee in the executive branch at the time of the crimes charged.
“This is more than just procedural wrangling,” former federal prosecutor Elie Honig said during an appearance on CNN’s The Lead with Jake Tapper. “This could be outcome determinative, because if Mark Meadows can show that the charges relate to his performance of his official duties — in this case as White House Chief of Staff — then a couple things happen.
“First, he gets moved across the street to the federal courthouse. Second of all, he’s then on the doorstep of a dismissal, because under the law, federal law, if a person can show that they’ve been criminally charged for something that they did, ‘under color of law,’ meaning in their capacity as a federal official, then the case gets thrown out altogether.”
Although this might be a longshot strategy for Meadows, it’s about all he’s got to avoid jail.
Honig added that the same strategy would not apply to Donald Trump — and that Rudy Giuliani could forget about it.
“As for Rudy Giuliani, he’s got nothing, he was not a federal employee at the time.”
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has asked a judge to set a trial date of March 4, 2024, for Donald Trump and his cronies. The trial(s) will be televised live in accordance with Georgia law.
OK WASSUP! discusses Politics:
Trump and his cronies face the music.
People should know better by now. Everybody that gets involved with Trump ends up in some kind of trouble. I am not surprised Rudy is broke. Trump used him by not paying him but that fool kept staying around him. Same thing happen with the pillow guy too. He had to sell off some of his business after he started supporting Trump. Nobody would buy his pillows then. These people are so stupid they get what they deserve.
