MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The state of Minnesota filed a human rights complaint Tuesday against the Minneapolis Police Department in the death of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer who pressed his knee into Floyd’s neck for several minutes, even after he stopped moving.

Gov. Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Human Rights announced the filing at a news conference Tuesday afternoon:

‘Our Minnesota Department of Human Rights today filed a civil rights charge against the MPD. @mnhumanrights will investigate the department’s policies, procedures, and practices over the past 10 years to determine if they engaged in systemic discriminatory practices.’ – HuffPost

I’m guessing you’re referring to white Christians attempting to disassociate themselves from Talibangelicals?

As a Black Christian, I have never associated myself with right-wing christians of any ilk. Those people are highly poisonous. And I would surely never believe in their god.

To me, any claim to restore “law and order” in America, is code for Authoritarian rule.

I would suggest that about 30% of Americans are just fine with that kind of national leadership. And I would certainly bet that most of them are Trump voters.

Now mind you, he has nothing but contempt for them – and most of them probably know that. They certainly know he’s a Fake alpha. But he’s a Fake alpha with Power. And THAT’s what Trump voters really worship. Power.

Perhaps even more than money.
