Trump Rhetoric Spurs Terrorist Threat
- Clinton's, Obama's, and CNN targeted in failed assassination attempt.
A terrorist bomb threat to top former Democratic government officials has nearly every sane person in America looking to 1 single source as the likely cause for the near-deadly terrorist act: DONALD TRUMP RHETORIC!
Top News Today
Early Wednesday morning, the CNN Headquarters in New York City was evacuated after a rudimentary pipe bomb was delivered to the midtown Manhattan building. Soon after, CNN reported that a similar device was also sent to former President and Mrs. (former Secretary of State) Clinton as well as former President and Mrs. Obama. Not long after that, news agencies reported that the bomb threat was much bigger than first reported, having also been sent to former Obama administration attorney general Eric Holder, former Democratic National Committee chairperson Debbie Wasserman Schultz, billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, and Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters of California. Additional late-breaking news added that a package was also sent to former Vice-President Joe Biden, but was misdirected and returned to sender.
No package was sent to Donald Trump, The White House, or any former or current Republican official or operative.
See the pattern here?
Each of the assassination attempts were made against Democratic officials Donald Trump has branded his “enemy.” Each of the assassination attempts were in response to the “dog whistle” Donald Trump has been sounding to his followers and against his “enemies.” Each of the assassination attempts can clearly be seen as a direct result of the Donald Trump rhetoric.
America has a fierce political and partisan history. However, during acts of war and moments of national crisis, America also has a long history of coming together and uniting as one nation.
Not this time!
When Saddam Hussein launched an assassination attempt against former President George H.W. Bush, what did then-current President Bill Clinton do? He was irate and publicly vowed that NO ONE could EVER attempt to assassinate a former US president and get away with it.
When (likely homegrown Trump-supporting) terrorists launched an assassination attempt against former President Clinton and former President Obama by sending a pipe bomb to their homes on Wednesday, what did Donald Trump do? He attended an ego-boosting rally in Wisconsin and, doing what he does best, played the blame-game while attempting to shift focus.
“We want all sides to come together in peace and harmony. We can do it,” Trump said while allowing his crowd to chant “Lock Her (Hillary Clinton) Up,” and “CNN sucks.”
Then, in a blatant attempt to avoid ANY accountability for the heinous assassination attempts on Wednesday, the Trump rhetoric kicked in. “The Donald” blamed partisanship from his political enemies and the media for fostering a political environment that he says is the real cause behind the explosive device attempts.
“The media also has a responsibility to set a civil tone and to stop the endless hostility and constant negative and oftentimes false attacks and stories,” Trump told a cheering crowd while steering clear of any responsibility whatsoever in the choreographed attempts.
“Those engaged in the political arena must stop treating political opponents as being morally defective,” Trump added. “No one should carelessly compare political opponents to historical villains, which is done often. It’s done all the time. It’s got to stop.”

The “so-called” President of the United States had a golden opportunity to lead, yet he didn’t. He had a golden opportunity to unite the nation, yet he didn’t. He had a golden opportunity to be “presidential” and denounce ANY threat against ANY President of the United States no matter their political affiliation, yet he didn’t.
Instead, Trump pointed the finger of blame at everyone but himself. Trump turned a day of multiple assassination attempts against former presidents, a former US Secretary of State, a sitting US Congresswoman, and others into a day all about him and why he thinks his political opponents and the media are the true culprits for why THEY were targeted in an attack. Trump leaned on what he knows best — the Trump rhetoric — and gave a virtual “wink-and-a-nod” to whoever pulled off these bomb attempts that their actions were appreciated and are “A-Okay.”

You see? The left already blaming the @GOP for this….
If I’m wrong about this being a political stunt, I’ll own up to it.
But timing is everything folks. And the timing given how close we are to midterms is HIGHLY SUSPICIOUS! https://t.co/lXFKXB2W5k

Meanwhile, Trump supporters were quick to respond to the bomb attempts as “fake news,” just as their leader has instructed them to do. Trump followers carried placards on Wednesday that read “Fake Democrats, Fake Bombs,” and even blamed the assassination attempts on a Democratic ploy to win the upcoming election.
Thankfully, none of the bombs brought harm to their intended targets or to anyone else. Unfortunately, the continued Trump rhetoric suggests this (almost assuredly) act of domestic terrorism was only the beginning and that there is more attempted violence to come.
Thanks, Trump!

And this is the grotesque behaving creature currently leading this nation. Pretty d*mn frightening mess we’ve got on Our hands. And the world continues to watch in horror and dismay. A lot of people could’ve been injured or killed yesterday had ANY of those bombs exploded. I believe the fact that none of the bombs went off suggests to me that the… Read more »
