Trump Sexual Assault Case = Another Loss
The Donald Trump sexual assault case was decided on Tuesday in New York City with ‘The Donald’ being handed yet another loss.
Current Events :
A jury of 6 men and 3 women decided that Donald Trump did, in fact, sexually assault E. Jean Carroll in 1996 and awarded her $5 million in damages. The jury also found that Trump defamed Ms. Carroll when he posted a statement on his Truth Social website last October and called her case “a complete con job” and “a Hoax and a lie.”
According to The New York Times, the breakdown of the charges and fines in the Trump sexual assault case were as follows:
- The jury awarded $2 million to Ms. Carroll due to evidence that Trump sexually abused her and that she was injured as a result of his conduct.
- The jury awarded Ms. Carroll $20,000 in punitive damages because Trump’s conduct was “willfully or wantonly negligent, reckless, or done with a conscious disregard of the rights of Ms. Carroll, or was so reckless as to amount to such disregard.”
- The jury found that Trump defamed Ms. Carroll and that she was injured as a result of his October 2022 Truth Social post. Their decision was for her to be paid $1 million for damages unrelated to a reputation repair program, and $1.7 million for a reputation repair program only.
- The jury concluded that Trump “acted maliciously, out of hatred, ill will, spite, or wanton, reckless, or willful disregard of the rights of another” and awarded Ms. Carroll $280,000.
Interestingly, Ms. Carroll brought her lawsuit under the Adult Survivor’s Act, which is a New York law that was signed in 2022 to allow victims of abuse a one-time opportunity to sue those responsible.
Following the Tuesday verdict, New York Gov. Kathy Hochul said, “I was proud to sign the Adult Survivors Act so brave survivors like E. Jean Carroll could have their day in court.”
For his part, Donald Trump argued that he couldn’t have sexually assaulted Ms. Carroll because, in his words, “I never met her” and she’s “not my type.” He also vowed to not accept the Trump sexual assault verdict as final.
“We’ll appeal. We got treated very badly by the Clinton-appointed judge,” Trump barked.
“I have no idea who this woman is.”

Losing the Donald Trump sexual assault case.
“We’ll appeal.” – Trump
Uh-huh. Good luck with that Donald. My guess is you’ll lose that appeal because by most accounts, this judge bent over backwords to try to accomodate you in almost every way. And still a jury of 6 men, SIX men, and 3 women found you guilty.
