Let’s cut right to the chase: the Donald Trump Town Hall on CNN was an unmitigated disaster — for the guest as well as the host!

After years of calling the network “fake news” and refusing ever to appear there, Trump backpedaled on his position and guest-starred in an hour-long talkfest on CNN on Wednesday night. What a waste of a good hour.
The televised infomercial was an epic disaster for Trump since he predictably spent the hour continuing his lies about the 2020 election, falsehoods regarding the lawsuits filed against him, and more.
However, the night was also a joke for CNN — a network now under the helm of Chris Licht that says it wants to be more mainstream but is somehow morphing into Fox News Part 2.
