Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, hell has indeed frozen over. Republicans have FINALLY turned on Donald Trump, calling him ‘Trumpty Dumpty’ and referring to his antagonistic brand of politics as a ‘Trumpster Fire!’
Politics :
Over the weekend, Democrats retained control of the US Senate after Sen. Catherine Cortez Masto was victorious in the State of Nevada. Democrats are also only slightly behind in retaining the US House and could gain an additional Senate seat during the December runoff in Georgia. Democrats won the Secretary of State contests in Arizona and Nevada, defeating Donald Trump-backed election deniers. As of this writing, Democrat Katie Hobbs was leading Republican (and Trump election denier) Kari Lake in the race for governor of Arizona. As if that wasn’t enough, Trump/MAGA sycophant, Rep. Lauren Boebert, was trailing in her reelection bid to represent Colorado in the US House of Representatives.
All of this comes as President Joe Biden’s approval rating has coasted below 50%.
The horrendous political news for the GOP prompted Republicans and conservatives everywhere to point fingers and place blame by uttering 2 words where they believe it belongs: Donald Trump.
Trump hand-picked a large majority of the Republicans who lost in the November midterm — candidates who were gravely unqualified but chosen due to their deep loyalty to him. Now, Republicans are having a collective conniption fit over the realization that the Republican red wave they were expecting didn’t even register as a pink puddle. They’re all blaming Trump for the epic fail.
Last week, New York Post and Fox News honcho Rupert Murdock led the charge against ‘The Donald’ by using Trump’s own tactic against him with the nickname: Trumpty Dumpty.
Murdock made Trumpty Dumpty the headline of the Post and printed an egg-shaped pic of Donald across the front cover with the caption: “Don (who couldn’t build a wall) had a great fall — can all the GOP’s men put the party back together again?”
Soon thereafter, Republicans took to social media to mock Trumpty Dumpty for creating a “Trumpster fire” of their party.
Conservative Candace Owens publicly chastised Trump, saying “Trump needs to take a good look in the mirror … and he needs to exercise a tiny bit more humility when he gets something wrong.”
Even Fox News and other right-wing media outlets turned on Trump for being the mastermind behind their conservative political failures.
“We’re going to win so much, that you’re going to get sick and tired of winning,” Trump once promised Americans. Now, Republicans are sick and tired of losing.
“Dark time in Trump’s inner circle. Spoke to several longtime friends, donors, and aides in the past 24 hours. Many say he’s listening to very few people, isolated, and meanspirited about his potential rivals. Several of them say they’re tired of his rants and are avoiding him.”
– CBS correspondent Robert Costa
The good news is that the huge Republican losses have likely salvaged American democracy. However, the bad news (for the GOP) is that although many Republicans may be done with Trump, Trump is definitely not done with them.
Conservative pundit Charlie Sykes was spot-on when he said Donald “Trumpty Dumpty” Trump doesn’t care about democracy, the Republican Party, or America. His concern is only focused on where it’s always been: himself. Donald Trump is willing to burn everything to the ground so long as it saves him and his ego from embarrassment.
According to Sykes, Trump had a mental and political meltdown over the weekend due to the losses. Still, he will never fold or admit failure no matter how bad things get.
“[Trump’s approach] means, ‘I’m not going quietly. I’m going to announce next week,’” Sykes said during an appearance on MSNBC while reminding viewers that Trump is still planning his “very big announcement” that he’s running for president again in 2024. “‘I don’t care who I hurt. If you do not nominate me, I will burn the house down. I will destroy and attack any other Republican that comes against me.’”
He added: “Donald Trump looks at the Republican establishment and says, ‘These are weak people. I have crushed them in the past. They will cave in to me. They have done it in the past and they will do it again.’”
4/ Trump has made clear he’s willing to burn it all down if he doesn’t get what he wants, which is maintaining his grip on the product line he’s been developing for six years: the Republican Party. So a lot of electeds will have to make a choice theyve not had to before.

Sykes has an interesting point — and it underscores some very bad news for the GOP:
1.) Donald Trump is like Herpes — he’s NEVER going away.
2.) Donald Trump is ready, willing, and able to burn everything to the ground so long as he comes out on top. Republican voters propped him up because they saw him as a crude, “I-Don’t-Follow-The-Rules” monster capable of crushing their enemies. However, they never once considered what might happen if he turned on them and threatened (like now) to crush them, too.
3.) For as long as the GOP is known as the party of crazies, conspiracy theorists, and Donald Trump/QAnon/MAGA misfits, it won’t win. Playing up to the mean-spirited, democracy-killing, Trump wing of the Republican Party without reaching out to working families, minorities, and Americans who are hurting is a losing strategy.
So, to all those Republicans who’ve been pointing fingers at Donald “Trumpty Dumpty” Trump for taking the party down a dead-end road, it’s time to look in the mirror, point the finger back at yourselves, and accept blame, too. YOU created an environment within your party for someone like Trump to prevail. YOU sat silent and allowed MAGA, militias, and conspiracy nut jobs to thrive and flourish within your own party. YOU didn’t take Trump and his ilk seriously. YOU didn’t stop him when you had the chance — including the 2016 primaries, the multiple impeachments, and after the deadly Capitol Hill insurrection.
If Republicans want to know why their party is wallowing in failure today, they need look no further than their own bathroom mirror for the ultimate answer.
OK WASSUP! discusses Politics:
Republicans point fingers at ‘Trumpty Dumpty.’

DJ, if I may modify the first sentence just a little so that it reads:
The good news is the Majority of American voters Showed Up and Showed Out, especially “GenZ,” resulting in HUGE Republican losses which has likely salvaged American democracy.
Just want to shout it from the rafters that WE (the Majority) did this to them! MAGA Trumpians are NO match for Us when WE show up in real numbers and vote. And ALL the Repubs know this too!
