On Wednesday, Tulsa, Oklahoma, and Berkeley, California became the latest additions to America’s long list of gun violence.

Top News Today :
In Tulsa, at least 4 people were killed and multiple others were injured after a gunman opened fire inside the St. Francis Hospital Medical Center.

Shortly before 5pm on Wednesday afternoon, Tulsa police received a call about a man walking near a medical office while carrying a handgun and a rifle. According to Tulsa Police Captain Richard Meulenberg, the situation quickly turned into an active shooter situation the moment police responded.

“Officers immediately rushed to the 2nd floor where the shooting was taking place. When they got there, they found a few people had been shot [and] a couple were dead at that time,” Meulenberg said. “We also found at that time who [we] believe and still believe to [be] the shooter because he had a long rifle and a pistol with him.”

“Police cars were lined up everywhere and on the surrounding roads. I snapped pictures and exited the backdoor,” said Debra Proctor, who has been a registered nurse for 46 years. She added that despite seeing plenty of death in her years of experience, “this was pretty shocking.”

One of the Tulsa shooting victims died after leaving the scene in an attempt to seek medical aid. At least 3 others also died and 10 more were wounded in the shooting. The unnamed shooter died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to Tulsa Deputy Chief Eric Dalgleish.

Tulsa police officials will hold a news conference Thursday at 10:15am CDT to discuss the details of the incident. However, ahead of the briefing, Capt. Meulenberg interestingly announced that the attack was NOT random.

As if the Tulsa shooting wasn’t enough for one day, officials announced on Wednesday that they were successful in uncovering and terminating a planned shooting by a high school student in Berkeley, CA.

Tulsa Shooting

In a press release issued on Wednesday, police said they received a tip on May 21st that a 16-year-old teen had tried to recruit other high school students to help him enact a school shooting at Berkeley High School — in an attack that included explosives. After receiving the initial information, officers obtained a search warrant for the teen’s residence and executed a warrant the following day.

During their search, they surprisingly uncovered a plethora of planned violence, including parts for explosives and assault rifles, several knives, and electronic items that could be used to create additional weapons.

Thankfully, the deadly scheme was halted and the teen was arrested after surrendering himself to Berkeley police — and before the teen could detonate his destruction.

In light of the shooting deaths in Buffalo, NY, Ulvalde, TX, and now Tulsa and Berkeley within the same day, does anybody actually believe America doesn’t have a gun problem?

Man I am so behind on responding to your posts DJ!

Between my new position AND COVID hitting my staff my plate is more than full right now. I’m doing everything to try and escape it, beginning with prayer AND my mask. Be very careful out there people. That virus is still very much alive and spreading!

But I digress………

What we’re dealing with right now in Our country, is pure madness! …and Evil! And I’m not just talking about the shooters!

Which begs the question WHERE the H*ll were the parents?! The police uncovered a “PLETHORA of planned violence” and the parents were doing WHAT?! Because they sure as H*ll weren’t parenting!

Hey Truth that is what I’m saying too. Where are these parents at? These kids are planning elaborate shootings and making bombs and all that and the parents know nothing about it? Come on now.

Truthiz1

I’ve said it at least once, if not twice, right here on this site……..

Start going after the parents too! Arrest their sorry azzez too! When a shooter is a minor, living at home with his/her parents/guardians why is the kid the only one being held responsible!?! Why aren’t the parents/guardians being hunted down, arrested AND locked up right along with their mucked up kid?!

NO. The parent/guardian should be held responsible too!

I bet if they did this parents would stop handing their kids a video game and ignoring them. Like you said they would be forced to pay attention to what they are getting into.

Mr.BD

Like Truth I am behind today too. But these stories are too important to miss completely. Somebody at work said the Tulsa shooting was so small it barely made the news. I corrected him and said anytime people get killed is never small. That type statement just goes to show we are getting too comfortable with these shootings.
