IF the Repub hierarchy doesn’t support his “leadership” aspirations he’d rather see the party split into pieces_DIE. IF he can convince enough republican sheople to support a “new” third party(?)_well, who better to lead that “new” party than good ole Newt?But first things first: Planting the seed of “forming a new party” in the minds of all those so-CONS is essential to his game-plan so he’s wasting no in doing so while also putting the GOP “leadership” (such as it is) on notice. The so-CONS have NO clue. But the hierarchy sure as h*ll does…(pause)_then again_those boyz ain’t too bright so……maybe not???_smh.

I just ran across this story: Gingrich: Obama Waging "War Against Churches" By Eric Kleefeld – April 2, 2009In a new appeal to the Christian right, Newt Gingrich told OneNewsNow that President Obama's proposed changes to the charitable deduction for top earners amounts to a "war against churches and charities," deliberately designed to discourage the successful from donating money to churches and make us all dependent on the government."I think there's a clear to desire to replace the church with a bureaucracy, and to replace people's right to worship together with a government-dominated system," said Gingrich.Note: The proposal itself is to lower the deduction that people making over $250,000 receive for itemized charitable contributions, from its current 33% or 35% down to 28%. Obama has defended the proposal by saying: "I'm assuming that that shouldn't be the determining factor as to whether you're giving that $100 to the homeless shelter down the street. Yep.I posted about this story, 2 days ago (3/31/09) under the thead titled "The Party of ZERO". In essence, Repubs are looking BACKWARDS to the future_and nothing says "fresh face" and "NEW ideas" like NEWT GINGRICH!?!(still shaking my head)…lol.
