Yesterday, OK WASSUP! reported that the U.S. Embassy in Yemen had been closed indefinitely due to terrorist threats against American interests there. But that embassy reopened today, after successful Yemeni counterterrorism operations addressed the threat that originally prompted the measure (meaning they either caught or killed whoever intended harm against the U.S. embassy there).
The embassy shut down because of an imminent al-Qaeda attack. In an announcement on its website, the embassy said the Yemini operations have successfully allowed it to resume immediate operations. Hmmm… that must have been some operation!
Right?
