Uvalde Parents Of Killed Kids Testify Before Congress
Lawmakers on Capitol Hill witnessed a tearjerker this week as several Ulvalde parents — whose kids were shot and killed at the Robb Elementary School shooting — testified before Congress.
Current Events :
Kimberly Rubio broke down in tears as she discussed her 10-year-old daughter, Lexi, who was killed in the school shooting.
“We don’t want you to think of Lexi as just a number. She was intelligent, compassionate, and athletic,” Rubio said while calling for tighter gun laws.
Emotional testimony also came from 11-year-old school-shooting survivor Miah Cerrillo, who begged congressional lawmakers to stop letting sociopaths murder small children just so “law-abiding citizens” can keep their guns.
Cerrillo added that she watched her teacher at Robb Elementary School get shot in the head by the 18-year-old gunman. Additionally, after seeing a friend get killed, she stuck her hand in “a little blood and…put it all over me” in the hopes of convincing the shooter she was already dead.
When asked if she would ever feel safe going back to school, Cerrillo answered with a resounding NO!

I think it’s very likely that most of the kids who survived will probably suffer some form of post traumatic stress for the rest of their lives. (sigh!)
It’s so sad. WE (adults) have failed Our children all across America and THEY are the main ones paying the price…smh!
This is insane!
