I can understand some people do not like vaccines. But if you are going to work in health care you already know you are going to have to get a lot of vaccines to work around people. If they do not want the shot they can go work someplace else. But they cannot risk other peoples lives because of what they want. About the cruise ship we already know Desantis is playing political games. They have started opening basketball arenas and only letting in vaccinated people. It makes sense when everybody is stuck together on a ship to know who got the shots or not. But DJ is right the people who go on a ship and do not get a shot are only hurting themselves.

{Royal Caribbean} also added that if the governor continues to fight them on this important safety issue, they could potentially uproot operations and move their ports to another state — a move which could cost Florida a whopping $9 billion in lost revenue. […] – DJ

RC should know better than to make such an idle threat. Idle threats “fall on deaf ears.” DeSantis doesn’t APPEAR to give a fig about RC’s threats.

He seems to be willing to call their bluff.

DeSantis wrong in sending thousands of passengers out on cruise ships without knowing who may or may not have COVID — or who may or may not have been vaccinated? ] – DJ

This question is a little easier for me because – even though DeSantis is a depraved, right-wing schmuck he isn’t actually “sending” thousands of passengers anywhere. He’s saying passengers don’t have to show proof they’ve received the COVID vaccine.

At the end of the day the onus is on every Adult passenger who chooses to throw caution to the wind and risk their own lives (and the lives of others) by sailing on any Cruise Ship that doesn’t require that proof.

Okay….this is a tough one for me because I totally understand why Houston Methodist Hospital (or any healthcare provider for that matter) would view such a mandate as the more prudent and responsible thing to do, especially from a liability standpoint.

But I also understand any person pushing back on being forced to inject something into his/her body that he/she is NOT comfortable with.

I’m fully vaccinated (whatever that actually means) but I’m still concerned about any possible long term negative affects the vaccine could have on my body in the near future.
