It’s Memorial Day weekend and the unofficial start of summer. So, what better time than to head to the local amusement park and check out the new rides — such as the Valravn Roller Coaster.

Granted, roller coasters aren’t everyone’s thing. Motion sickness, a fear of heights, or a general dislike for hours-long lines are usually responsible for keeping a lot of people from riding them. Also, some of the best coasters are at parks hundreds of miles away, which makes it difficult for families to get to. However, there’s now a way for folks to ride what will be one of the biggest coasters in the world — without ever having to leave home.
Cedar Point Amusement Park (just outside of Cleveland) now lets you ride their new record-breaking Valravn Roller Coaster in virtual reality. The park has unveiled its new “dive coaster” on its VR app and through the virtual experience, giving everyone a taste of the 75 mph, 223-foot high, three-inversion ride with the 90-degree free-fall drop. It’s really quite amazing.
