Van der Sloot: GUILTY/NOT GUILTY

Spread The Love

First he said he was guilty of murder.  Then he said he was not.  And you wanna know something interesting?  This has now happened with TWO women!

We are talking about Joran van der Sloot, who is believed to be responsible for the disappearance and likely murder of then 18-year-old student Natalee Holloway in Aruba in 2005, but is also now believed to be responsible for the murder of a 21-year-old woman in Peru last week.

Van der Sloot was captured in a videotaped sting operation confession to the killing of Natalee Holloway in Aruba 5 years ago, then dumping her body into the ocean.  He later recanted his confession, claiming entrapment and pointing out the unofficial videotaping coerced him into confessing a crime he did not commit.  To this date, Aruban officials have been unable to totally solve the Holloway case and thereby set Van der Sloot free.

Last week, Van der Sloot went on a vacation to Peru and met 21-year-old Stephany Flores while in a local casino.  After a bit of conversation, a hotel security camera captured Van der Sloot and Flores going up to his hotel room to spend the night.  But the next morning, the security camera only recorded Van der Sloot leaving the room, never to return.  A hotel manager later entered the room, discovering the murdered body of Flores, prompting the search and capture of Van der Sloot.  Originally, he admitted to Peruvian authorities that he had indeed murdered the woman.  But after getting rid of his public defender and securing a new private attorney, he suddenly recanted his confession — AGAIN!

Now, the vicious Van der Sloot has told investigators during his interrogation that he knows the location of Natalee Holloway’s body, but he would neither identify the location nor say what happened to her the night of her disappearance. “He says he knew the location of the American citizen but that he was going to explain everything to Aruban police,” said Miguel Canlla, head of the homicide division of the Peruvian national police investigative unit.  Van der Sloot is also wanted in Alabama for reportedly attempting to extort $25,000. from the mother of Natalee Holloway, in a “cash-for-information” sort of exchange.

Joran Van der Sloot’s troubles are deep and this time likely insurmountable.  He remains a suspect in an Aruban murder case, he is wanted for extortion in Alabama, and now he is all but considered guilty in the new murder case in Peru.  Exactly how the 3 countries will handle his 3 cases is still yet to be seen.  But at least ONE of them should be able to convict the 22-year-old and put him behind bars for the rest of his days!

From what I've heard, he's significantly LESS likely to survive his sentence in a Peruvian prison_which means he'll NOT see the light of FREEDOM again and the lives of his future victims will be spared. The guy is a sociopathic menace who WILL kill again if he's ever turned loose!
