Was Van Jones "swiftboated" by reich-wing white supremacist lunatics such as Beck et al? You're darn skippy he was!BUT!!!_he gave them the ammunition to use against him the minute he signed his name to that 9/11 conspiracy-driven petition.Van jones is a highly intellegent, educated BLACK man, born and raised in AMERICA. Politics aside, he knows THE DEAL. My guess is that Obama AND Van Jones were willing to take a chance that it really wouldn't become that big of an issue. They were both wrong in that assumption. And obviously neither Obama nor Van Jones felt this was a battle worth wasting more precious time on. While, "left" and "right" radicals, racist, bigots, and all around IGNORAMUSES and 'know-nothings" have NOTHING but HATE and TIME on their hands…both Obama and Van Jones have greater work to do…..and they've opted to move on to address those works.I agree with their decision!
