Could we soon see Vice President Tim Scott on the Donald Trump ticket?

It looks like GOP Sen. Scott of South Carolina may be looking for a political upgrade and is hoping to secure the title of Vice President Tim Scott by this November. Scott caught the attention of Republican election watchers when he gave a full-throated endorsement of Donald Trump last Friday. However, that was only the beginning.
On Sunday, Sen. Scott announced that he is engaged. Yes, the lifelong bachelor — who has never once been seen with any woman until he debuted a mystery woman just a few months ago during a debate — says he is finally ready to tie the knot.
The 58-year-old Scott popped the question to Mindy Noce, whom he appears to have been “dating” for a very short time — and she said yes.
“As a guy who is mostly an introvert and on the quiet side, having to have a conversation about the engagement is a little, you know, uncomfortable in a way, but it’s the most exciting thing I’ll do with my life besides making Jesus my Lord,” Scott said on Sunday.
“I’ve been very patient and prayerful, and I’m really excited and somewhat nervous, and I couldn’t be more thankful for having found a soul mate and someone who shares a lot of the same interests, passions, and goals that I do,” he added.
Naturally, inquiring minds are asking the million-dollar question: is it true love, or a political maneuver?
According to Axios, GOP donors have long been concerned about Scott’s marital status which they believe contributed to his ineffectiveness as a political candidate. Additionally, it’s been rumored that Tim Scott may actually be gay and only concocted a “relationship” for political acceptability.
With President Biden running with a Black and Indian vice-presidential candidate, it wouldn’t be a shock to see Donald Trump choose a Black running mate as well.

When I saw the news of this sham of a proposal that was the first thing I thought about. Tim wants to be Trump’s VP pick. He knows he’s got to play his Coonery and Bufoonary part in order to even be considered.
And she’s got to be a really good friend to Tim to agree to help him (and Trump) pull off this sham. (pause) I’m joking!
She knows Tim is gay and she may be his good friend. But she’s in it for the money and the power!
