WASHINGTON – President Donald Trump suggested Thursday morning that Republicans could benefit in upcoming elections from the leadership crisis threatening three top Democrats in Virginia.

“Democrats at the top are killing the Great State of Virginia,” he tweeted. “If the three failing pols were Republicans, far stronger action would be taken. Virginia will come back HOME Republican) in 2020!”

Trump’s remarks followed a number of revelations that have rocked the Virginia Democratic Party: Virginia Attorney General Mark Herring’s revelations on Wednesday that he, too, once wore blackface in the 1980s, and a woman accusing the lieutenant governor of sexual assault released details of her claim against Justin Fairfax.

Welp…looks like Fairfax mess just got messier….

The woman accusing Justin Fairfax of sexual assault told a Democratic congressman a year ago that the Virginia lieutenant governor had a “#MeToo allegation” against him, sources tell CNN, though Rep. Bobby Scott’s aides say he didn’t learn of the full extent of her allegations until this week.

Vanessa Tyson said Wednesday that Fairfax, a Democrat, sexually assaulted her at the 2004 Democratic National Convention in Boston. She informed Scott, a Virginia Democrat, about her allegations because she and the congressman had previously been in a long-term romantic relationship, the sources said, adding that Tyson mentioned her allegations to Scott after they had ended the relationship. So the alleged assault took place AFTER their “long-term romantic relationship” ended?!

Good luck trying to figure out who’s telling this truth in all this mess because honestly…I don’t know!?!

I don’t think they could have a bigger mess in Virginia. Everything is crazy there right now. And like Truth said why are white men so hung up on being in black face? If they dress up as somebody black for Halloween or whatever why do they need to make their face black for everybody to know who they are? Michael Jackson skin wasn’t even dark in real life but Northam couldn’t be him unless he put something dark on his own face? This is the craziest ish I ever heard. I was rooting for Fairfax earlier this week but now I don’t think any of them can survive everything that is going on. Maybe they have to pull a name out a bowl again to decide who can be the governor down there.

The co-hosts appeared surprised by her drastically different look. Raven-Symoné, a former co-host, asked, “Joy, are you black?”

“I was so cute,” Behar said.

“Joy… are you my auntie, Joy?” Raven-Symoné joked.

Behar explained that the picture was taken at a Halloween party where she dressed up as a “beautiful African woman” and stressed that it was her actual hair.

“Did you have tanning lotion on, Joy?” Raven-Symoné asked.

Now about the 3 jokers at the top of the Democratic leadership in Virginia (Northam, Fairfax and Herring)

Good. Lord. I’m not from Virginia and even I am ashamed of these guys. And spare me the excuses (i.e., “they were young, made mistakes, did stupid things..yada, yada, yada).

Yes. there are youthful acts that can be…and should be…easily forgiven and forgotten.

But then there are youthful acts so offensive, so egregious..sometimes even criminal…that cannot be so easily explained away, minimized or dismissed. Bad acts that can follow you the rest of your life. Northam, Farifax and Herring are having to deal with THIS very hard Truth right now.
