WAS ARAFAT MURDERED?

Spread The Love

Was former Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat murdered?

That’s the question his widow is asking, after extremely high levels of radiation were found in his belongings. Now, she is asking to have his body exhumed to determine his actual cause of death.

8 years ago, Arafat became gravely ill out of nowhere and died soon after.  Whispers of poisoning were heard immediately following his surprising death, but no traces of anything deadly were found in his system.  Arafat was buried immediately.

A private investigation by Al Jazeera showed that “tests reveal that Arafat’s final personal belongings – his clothes, his toothbrush, even his iconic kaffiyeh – contained abnormal levels of polonium, a rare, highly radioactive element. Those personal effects, which were analyzed at the Institut de Radiophysique in Lausanne, Switzerland, were variously stained with Arafat’s blood, sweat, saliva and urine. The tests carried out on those samples suggested that there was a high level of polonium inside his body when he died.”

In case you’ve never heard of polonium, it is a rare and deadly element that is hard for anyone but a national government to get its hands on. It’s also exceptionally dangerous to handle. Ironically, it’s the same radioactive element that Russian agents used to kill Alexander Litvinenko in 2006, which lends credence to the Arafat connection.

The fact that polonium was found on Arafat’s belongings is suspicious. Only if his body is carefully exhumed, under supervision by professionals to guard against tampering, can his actual cause of death be determined.
