WAS GARY COLEMAN’S DEATH AN ACCIDENT?
Have you ever heard of Shannon Price? Actually you have. She is the former Mrs. Gary Coleman. And she is also under fire for her potential role in the death of her late ex-husband.
Since Coleman’s untimely death, the Internet and the public at large have been buzzing with a few very simple questions: Why has Shannon Price been so quiet about how the “Diff’rent Strokes” actor died? What exactly happened when Gary Coleman fell? What are the circumstances surrounding his fall and eventual death? Is there an investigation underway, or do authorities have any reason to think they need to investigate?
Her silence regarding the circumstances of his death has been deafening. And her perceived lack of emotion during a recently publicized 911 call combined with an odd press conference following Coleman’s death have made her appear somewhat suspect. During the 911 call, Shannon Price refuses to go near her estranged husband, saying she doesn’t want to be around blood. Gary Coleman is also heard in the background of the call asking repeatedly “What’s wrong”? Price has also been criticized for bizarre statements she made following Coleman’s death: “The doctors told us that even if they had done surgery on him, he would’ve died,” Price said in a video statement. He’d basically be like Muhammad Ali … I mean, Gary was gone.” Price also added: “A lot of people sit there and say, yeah, she pushed him. People are so cruel, they don’t even know. I was upstairs, he was downstairs. How am I going to push him? Why would I want to hurt my husband, are you kidding?”
The suspicious death of a celebrity brings out the natural detective in everyone. So it’s normal to wonder if authorities are investigating the details of how Gary Coleman fell — or are they truly believing that a 4 foot man could fall far and hard enough to cause his own death? And given the volatile history of the relationship between Gary Coleman and Shannon Price, where both parties have been arrested within the past year on domestic violence charges and were in a constant state of on-again-off-again divorce, public sentiment is strongly suggesting that perhaps law enforcement officials should take more than just a passing glance at the manner in which the 42-year-old actor may have died.
So far, all that is known publicly is that Gary Coleman fell and injured his head. That traumatic injury resulted in an intra-cranial hemorrhage which induced a coma. Coleman never came out of the comatose state he slipped into a day after he was hospitalized. And as the designated person to make decisions regarding his health when he was unable to, Shannon Price chose to remove him from life support and allowed him to pass away.
So is there more to this story than meets the eye? Is public sentiment via the Internet correct to be suspicious of Shannon Price and her involvement with Gary Coleman’s death? Was she directly involved in his “accident”? Or are we all going to hell in a handbasket for believing the grief-stricken ex-widow is anything but on the level and in a serious state mourning? Here is the 911 call for YOU to decide. Tell us what you think!

Thank you thank you for doing this story. You read my mind. I was just talking to family about this over my holiday vacation. Something is funny here and I'm not laughing. I really believe this ex wife had something to do with his death. Call it gut feeling or whatever but listening to the 911 tape shows she wasn't all that upset. If someone I loved had a accident and was bleeding to death I would have been there to help them all the way. No way I would say I can't do anything because I don't like blood. Bulls–t. I hope the police are on thier jobs because that was no accidental death. That was murder.
