WHAT’S NEXT FOR CASEY ANTHONY?
BREAKING NEWS: A judge has ruled that Casey Anthony will not be released from jail today. She was sentenced to a 4 year jail term, but having already served 3 years + time for good behavior, her sentence has been reduced to 6 days. Casey Anthony will now be released next Wednesday, July 13, 2011.
After being acquitted on Tuesday of the murder of her daughter Caylee, Casey Anthony is expected to walk out of jail today as a free woman. So what’s next for her?
The trial was such a high-profile drama, Casey Anthony won’t be able to freely walk down the street, walk into a grocery store, or go out to a movie without drawing tons of attention. The emotions over the surprise verdict of not guilty are still so high, Casey will not only have to look out for the media, but also for her own personal safety. And with the explosive charges Casey presented in court, that both her father and brother sexually molested her, it will be next to impossible for Casey to leave her jail cell and return to a happy and healthy life among her extremely dysfunctional family.
So what’s next for Casey Anthony? Get ready to be surprised!
Attorney’s for Anthony are already preparing to capitalize on Casey’s celebrity, as a bidding war is currently underway for which network will pay top dollar to snag Casey’s first post-trial television interview. Since Casey never took the witness stand, the networks are tripping over each other to deliver her first public words regarding the trial and her story of exactly what happened to Caylee. And due to the legal loophole “double jeopardy,” which means a person can not be re-tried for a crime once they have been found not guilty, there are whispers that Casey could use this first televised interview to tell the TRUTH of what happened to Caylee Anthony — which could even include a confession. So Casey could walk away from just this one interview as a very rich woman. But wait, it doesn’t end there.
A book deal is also in the works, with Casey expected to describe in detail her dysfunctional family life, including the charges of sexual incest which she says affected her relationship with Caylee. A movie deal is also being discussed, with Hollywood already considering Natalie Portman or Julia Roberts to star as Casey Anthony.
In the end, the tragic death of little Caylee Anthony could actually make Casey Anthony a multi-millionaire — which is already not sitting well among the public as well as the state of Florida.
Public sentiment is rapidly growing against Casey Anthony, regarding any financial gain she may obtain from selling her access and her story in the death of her daughter. But the state of Florida is already preparing to grab a cut of her future earnings, by billing her for the cost of the unnecessary investigations they conducted, after she lied and sent investigators on several dead end leads.
But as for today, Casey Anthony is about to become a free woman. She can never be tried on these murder charges again. And her lawyers are about to whisk her away to a secret and safe destination, until they can manage her career as an ex-murder suspect — as well as the millions in cash that will soon follow.
