What’s going on with Paris Jackson?
The 15-year-old daughter of the late Michael Jackson attempted suicide last week. Now Superior Court Judge Mitchell Beckloff has ordered an investigator into Paris’ physical and mental health, education and welfare to see if any changes are necessary.
Reportedly, Paris Jackson, who has recently taken on a “goth” look, was denied permission to attend a Marilyn Manson concert last week. A shouting match ensued and that’s when Paris went to her room, took several Motrin pills, slit her wrists with a meat cleaver, then called a suicide hotline. An ambulance was dispatched and Paris was rushed to a hospital, where she received treatment and has been under watch.
Although the consumption of several Motrin pills might produce an awful stomach ache, it’s not the way to take your own life. This has prompted many to wonder that if Paris was really ready to die, would she have used Motrin as her method then immediately phoned a suicide hotline and provided her identity and address for authorities to easily find her?
So, what’s going on here?
Is Paris still dealing emotionally with the death of her beloved father, Michael Jackson? Is her suicide attempt a cry for help now that she has been thrust into the dysfunction known as the Jackson family? Or is she merely a spoiled and entitled brat who was acting out and seeking attention when she didn’t get her way?
