And Michelle Bachmann thought the cradle of the American revolution was New Hampshire. Why are so many of those eager to base our current policies on the distant past clearly incapable of passing the citizenship exam?" – Andrew Sullivan

If I may ask Beth, why do you say "undeservedly"…???

Okay. Did anyone see (or hear about) the interview of Herman Cain did on Faux news Sunday with Chris Wallace? </span>  <span></span> <span>Evidently Cain's performance was so "disastrous" that it alarmed some right-wingers over at the Free Republic: </span>  <span></span> <span>"Cain laid out his point-by-point plan for fixing America's problems, then admitted that the plan WOULD NOT, COULD NOT work. I'm as stunned as I have ever been. I understand how incongruous, unlikely, and absolutely contradictory this sounds. I implore you, go to the link I have provided and watch what I watched. It is astounding. At two minutes and 30 seconds into this 13 minute vid, just look at the expression on Herman's face as Wallace questions him. He looks like a student trying to come up with an excuse for why he hadn't read the chapter assigned to him the day before."       See: "Herman Cain On FOX Sunday With Chris Wallace"    Full read: <span><span&gt <a href="http://;http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2723704/posts</span></span&gt;” target=”_blank”>;http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-chat/2723704/posts</span></span&gt;       Video link: <span><span&gt <a href="http://;http://video.foxnews.com/v/954878611001</span></span&gt;</span></span>” target=”_blank”>;http://video.foxnews.com/v/954878611001</span></span&gt;</span></span>

If the election were today Mr. Obama would win overwhelmingly, if undeservedly, helped by his capture of Osama Bin Laden. Since I am more of a main stream conservative, my dream candidate is Mitt Romney. However, some in our party are against him due to his former health bill and because he is Mormon, which is so unfair for such a good man.
