Racism
Have you ever wondered why so many poor whites, particularly from some of the most racist regions in the US (who have NOTHING to gain from Trump’s conservative policies) are such ardent supporters of Donald Trump?  Have you ever wondered what Trump really meant when he said he could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot someone and his supporters would still support him no matter what?  Well, wonder no more.

The reason is as obvious as the nose on your face.  WHITE POWER!

White Power

In case you were unaware, WHITE POWER overtook The WHITE House the day Donald Trump dotted the door.  It’s the reason why Trump has been as committed as a crackhead to remove every sign, symbol, and deed of that black man who preceded him.  It’s the reason why his people “joked” that Trump first needed to fumigate before moving into the place the Obama’s resided in for 8 years. It’s the reason why Trump towed people like Breitbart’s Steve Bannon and white supremacist Stephan Miller into The White House with him.  And, it’s the reason why Trump gave a wink-and-a-nod pass to all the white supremacists who marched in Charlottesville in the interest of WHITE POWER.

Don’t believe it?  Take a look at the photo below:

Racism
This is a photo of White House adviser Stephen Miller.  So, what’s wrong with this picture?  At first glance, it appears completely normal and as if Miller is simply posing inside The White House while adjusting his suit, right?  WRONG!!

If you look closely, Stephen Miller is NOT adjusting his suit.  What he IS doing is “throwing up a gang sign” with his hands that is well known among white supremacist circles.  His fingers are shaped in the letters “W” and “P.”  So, why would Miller be inside The White House taking a photo for national syndication, while forming his hands into the letters “W” and “P?”  The answer is simple:

WHITE POWER!

White Power
White House interns and staff

Yes, the 32-year-old Trump adviser is the same 17-year-old Stephan Miller captured on video during his high school days joking about torturing Iraqi’s a mere 15 years ago.  He is also the same Stephan Miller who was kicked off of a CNN interview with Jake Tapper just last week.  Oh, and he is the same Stephan Miller who has absolutely no qualms in flashing the well known WHITE POWER symbol inside The White House — just as several White House staff members and interns have done right along side of him.

KNOWLEDGE is POWER!

Hmm. Interesting. I hadn’t heard about this undercover “White-power” hand gesture DJ so thank you for bringing it to my awareness. At first glance I thought the pics might have been photo-shopped for shock value. But upon further fact-checking of the topic, via Snopes, apparently the photos are authentic. As per Snopes: Mark Pitcavage, senior research fellow at the *ADL’s Center on Extremism, told us that while the gesture has evolved since it was first conceived by anonymous Internet trolls in the first half of 2017, it has persisted. But it’s still hardly safe to assume a person using the gesture is intending to communicate hate. Instead it’s typically used by various right wing personalities, often while posing for photographs, to troll liberals and garner an outraged response: “Right now whenever anyone is using it in this context it’s very sort of ironic and trolling. But if it persists there’s… Read more »

I don’t think there’s any question that the people engaging in the *White-power* hand gesture are doing so with sinister intent.

And I have no problem calling it Out so that the general American public is aware of it. But I think we’ve also got to be careful NOT feed into that nonsense by giving it more attention than it deserves.

Keep in mind “it’s typically used by various right wing personalities, often while posing for photographs, to troll liberals and garner an outraged response.”

Hateful dim-bulbs (like Stephan Miller and his ilk) do what they do out of irrational fear, ignorance and desperation.

WE (the rest of us) are smarter than they are …and they know it.

Let’s not fall for their pitiful game.

Marcus

I’ve been lurking in the background not commenting for about a year, so this is my first time posting. I usually agree with the things you post but I have to disagree with you here. We have to be careful not to downplay this to something being done just for a response. Think of it this way. If somebody on the Obama staff took a pic with the black power fist in the air or some gang sign they would still be talking about that to this day. That would have never been acceptable during that time so we have to be careful not to accept it now. If 45 was a real leader he would instruct his people not to do something like that, if for no other reason than bad optics. But he is not a real leader which makes me think these people are flashing hand signs… Read more »

Mr.BD

Hey Marcus welcome my brother. I think you both have some good points. Truth is correct people like Steven Miller knows what he is doing just to make people mad. But you are also correct that we should not ignore it either. I can see this being a secret white power message to all the racists so we do have to keep our eyes open because it can get out of hand. Now don’t lurk for another year Marcus. Speak out more and join in our discussions.

Greetings Marcus!

..and I’ll just cosign my buddy BD- Welcome! The more voices/opinions the better.

You will please note in my previous response, I did say that I agree with raising public awareness about the racists gesture. But let’s not take the bait and give those cretins more attention than necessary. Attention is what they so desperately crave.

Great having you chime in!
