Move over Prince Harry! You’re about to move down a notch on the royal ladder.
Yesterday, Buckingham Palace announced that after 19 months of marriage, Prince William and his wife Catherine are expecting their first child.
The news was forcibly announced after Kate was hospitalized for acute morning sickness. Even Prince Charles and the British Prime Minister were unaware of the pregnancy until Kate’s illness. Still, the Royal Family and the people of Great Britain received the joyous news with excited glee.
The couple is reportedly 12 weeks along, which means that a new royal heir to the British throne should arrive in June of 2013. Health officials are already speculating that Kate’s severe morning sickness could signal twins, which would make for an interesting story of which potential twin could actually end up as King — or Queen of Great Britain.
