On Friday morning, heir to the British throne Prince William Arthur Phillip Louie Windsor, married Catherine Elizabeth Middleton in a storybook London ceremony that was high on pomp and circumstance. The couple, who will now be known as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, are in line to some day become the King and Queen of England.
Although many Americans took great interest in the novelty of a royal wedding, there are those throughout the world who believe the idea of a royal monarchy is outdated and unnecessary, not to mention expensive. What do you think?
