ZIMMERMAN CLAIMS INJURY
The George Zimmerman spin patrol is in full effect.
Since Zimmerman fatally shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin nearly 3 months ago, holes in his story left doubts of a physical altercation that left Zimmerman injured. Eyewitness reports, EMT officials deciding against transporting Zimmerman to a hospital, as well as video footage of Zimmerman being taken into a police station on the night of the murder, all led to lingering questions about Zimmerman’s alleged injuries. Now, Zimmerman’s attorney has a new trick up his sleeve to promote his clients’ claims.
Defense lawyer Mark O’Mara intends to submit into evidence a medical report from George Zimmerman’s family doctor, showing the neighborhood watch volunteer was diagnosed with a fractured nose, 2 black eyes and 2 lacerations on the back of the head after his fatal confrontation with Trayvon Martin. The medical exam, which was taken a day after Zimmerman’s February 26th altercation with the unarmed teen, says Zimmerman suffered a “closed fracture” of his nose, as well as other cuts and bruises.
Will this new information be accepted as evidence? Absolutely. Does this new information prove Zimmerman’s claims of his own innocence? ABSOLUTELY NOT!
The existing 911 recording already proves that Zimmerman exited his vehicle and followed Trayvon Martin against the advice of the 911 operator. So it stands to reason that once Zimmerman caught up with Trayvon Martin, there was almost certainly a scuffle, especially once Zimmerman pulled a gun on the 17-year-old.
Trayvon Martin fought for his life on the night of his murder. Unfortunately, he didn’t succeed. But a broken nose or a few cuts and bruises certainly does not let George Zimmerman off the hook. He is still a murderer!
And let the Church say AMEN!
